Christchurch, New Zealand “Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” - Hebrews 13:15 - 16 (ESV) Time is indeed so fast that we are now on our 3rd Quarter of International Thanksgiving which is scheduled on October 5, 6 and 7. With what we have learned from the teachings of the bible that in preparation for each thanksgiving we do good works, the brethren from the locale of Christchurch in their own way, took part in the said preparation, especially those who are members of the different ministries inside the church which include: The Christchurch Artist Guild, with their creativity, they enthusiastically designed the Locale with the purpose of inspiring and uplifting the mood of everyone through their artistic decorations.  The Christchurch Youth Ministry volunteered in cleaning the whole locale such as disinfecting the toilet, vacuuming the carpet, furnishing the hall, cleaning and organizing the kitchen.  The Teatro Kristiano and Music Ministry have been practicing their respective songs and dance presentations in preparation for the thanksgiving.  Other committees such as the Photoville International, the UNTV News and Rescue team, Children Ministry and Locale Officers and Medical Team had individual group meetings and planning as well.  All brethren are so busy preparing for this gracious occasion. Excited to sing praises to and to Glorify the Almighty God. Brethren from the small country of New Zealand gathered at YMCA in Christchurch last 15th of July 2018 to celebrate the country’s Thanksgiving. They started small in numbers gathering in their homes for the weekly Thanksgiving. Since then, the brethren all over New Zealand have been increasing through the years. Now, there are seven locales in New Zealand located in Auckland, Papakura, Hamilton, Feilding, Wellington, Christchurch and Ashburton.  KNC (Kawan ng Cordero or Children's Ministry) leads the brethren in singing songs of praises to the Lord. Jeremias 30:19 “Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small."  Brethren offer the song presentation at Christchurch, New Zealand Over the past years, Members of Church of God International in New Zealand have been active with a multitude of activities including social services such as Blood donation, Tree planting and Elderly care. They also have division and inter-local activities such as Couples’ Night, Sportsfest, Family Day, Team Building, Buffet Fund Raisers and Sabbath Day Celebration. Moreover, they are also active in propagation activities like flyer distributions, Bible Studies and Mass Indoctrination.  North Island delegates pose and smile together for a photo taken during the Thanksgiving. I Peter 1:17 " Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear..." The brethren of New Zealand as humble servants, offered Thanksgiving to God on this day to express gratitude for all of His unfathomable blessings. To God be the glory!
