Locale of Papakura, New Zealand Brethren from the Members Church of God International (MCGI) Papakura, New Zealand held their Sabbath Anniversary Celebration last July 29, 2018.  This event is held once at the end of every month to celebrate the members’ baptism, and is done after the Thanksgiving of God’s People Celebration. Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.  This is an event anticipated by all brethren. This month, it was celebrated through various activities such as singing, dancing, Bible verse recitation and some games or challenges.  Along with the Sabbath Celebration, the brethren held a Buffet which is often called as “Buffet Sunday” where brethren volunteer to bring their own homemade food to help support the Buffet Sunday activity.  The Sabbath Celebration event concluded with a Fund Drive Draw and Awarding Ceremony.  |
